Therapy Services

Anxiety Treatment for Children and Youth

We support children and teens experiencing anxiety-related challenges, including:

  • Generalized anxiety
  • Social anxiety
  • Separation anxiety
  • Specific fears and phobias
  • School-related anxiety

Treatment focuses on helping young people gradually face fears, build coping skills, and tolerate uncertainty in a safe and manageable way.

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Treatment

We provide specialized treatment for pediatric OCD using evidence-based approaches. Therapy helps children and youth:

  • Understand how OCD works
  • Reduce compulsive behaviors and avoidance
  • Build confidence in handling uncomfortable thoughts and feelings
  • Reclaim daily activities impacted by OCD

Care is paced thoughtfully and tailored to each child’s developmental level.

Parent and Caregiver Support

Caregivers play a vital role in progress. We offer:

  • Psychoeducation about anxiety and OCD
  • Coaching on supportive responses at home
  • Guidance on reducing accommodation
  • Collaboration to support consistency across environments

Our goal is to help caregivers feel informed, confident, and supported.

SPACE Program (Supporting Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions)

  • Parent-based, evidence-informed treatment for childhood anxiety and OCD
  • Focuses on changing caregiver responses rather than direct child therapy
  • Helps reduce accommodation and resassurance-seeking
  • Supports child in facing fears and building independence
  • Particularly helpful when anxiety strongly impacts family routine

Family Therapy

Family therapy supports children and youth by strengthening the family system around them. Sessions focus on improving communication, increasing understanding of anxiety and OCD, and helping families respond in ways that reduce unhelpful patterns and support progress. Family therapy is often integrated with individual treatment to promote consistency and carry skills into everyday life.
